The local structural committee has been meeting on a regular basis and has decided to concentrate on bringing continuing education opportunities with a structural emphasis to our section members.
The first event will be held on March 21, 2012, and will be a Powers Fasteners “Lunch and Learn” Presentation. This will be “an informative and educational presentation regarding structural anchorage in concrete and masonry base materials.” Attendees will receive 1.25 PDH’s. There is no cost to attendees.
This presentation will be held at noon at Eastern Exterior Wall Systems, Inc., 3400 High Point Boulevard, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Please RSVP by March 12, 2012 to Cheryl Rishcoff at 610-871-3935 X-20, or by e-mail at crishcoff@trcww.com.
The committee would also like to thank Scott Gold for all of his hard work heading up the structural committee over the last several years. The committee has become very active under his leadership, and will hopefully continue to do so in the future.
