ASCE and MacGillivray Freeman Films – the team that brought Dream Big: Engineering Our World to giant screens around the world – have united to produce a new film inspired by ASCE’s Future World Vision initiative: Cities of the Future.
Featuring five young ASCE members working to solve the world’s most pressing challenges with inspiring solutions, the film also follows a team of middle school students as they compete in the Future City Competition and uses jaw-dropping CGI and the immersive size and sound of the IMAX experience to allow audiences to “step into the future.” Science centers and museums around the world have already booked the film.
Showings are at 9AM and 11AM, from February 10th through February 13th.
This event is geared towards middle and high school students. As part of this outreach, a Q&A session with engineers of all disciplines will take place after each showing. If you are interested in assisting, please contact Steve Ressler at sjressler@gmail.com
